With only six tables and a clear focus on rice dishes, Alejandro Platero’s restaurant has become a reference. His Valencian paella is not just any paella: in 2024 it won the award for the best in the Valencian Community at the International Paella Competition in Sueca.
In addition to its award-winning paella, its arroz meloso de pelota de cocido a la brasa with cinnamon and lemon is another must on the menu.

This young project, led by Guillem Vallcanera, has conquered Valencia with its perfect pairing between the two classics of bar gastronomy. It has Solete Repsol.
Here the tortillas are of another level: 10 gourmet varieties ranging from the classic potato and onion to surprising combinations such as Burgos black pudding, sobrasada and bacon or the most requested, the Carbonara with guanciale and parmesan. In addition, you decide the cooking point: juicy, liquid or well done.
The croquettes are not far behind with flavors such as cheeseburger, Peking duck or even brownie.

Firewood, smoke and fire are the protagonists at Tavella, Pablo Chirivella’s restaurant that has become a national benchmark for grilled cuisine. With a Sol Repsol, his proposal revolves around market and seasonal products.

Run by a Korean couple from Paiporta, here you’ll eat authentic Asian cuisine. If it’s your first time, start with their bibimbap, grilled ribs or kimchi, before jumping in with the rest (which I’m sure you will). It is in Patraix, has very few tables and is a treasure.
