Fireworks every Saturday

Valencia debuts a new tradition for this holiday season: every Saturday at 6:30 pm, the lighting of the Christmas lights is accompanied by a musical fireworks show. A brief, but intense 3-minute show that unites gunpowder, lights and music to celebrate Christmas with a local stamp until January 5.
Admission: Free.

Three concerts to bid farewell to December at La Casa de la Mar

La Casa de la Mar is marking these days the typical warm-up plan or “tardevieja” in Valencia with live music, vermouth and afternoon with the sea on the horizon, without having to wait for New Year’s Eve to start celebrating it.
- Bamboleo (December 20): midday rumba vermuteo with versions of C. Tangana, Kiko Veneno, Gipsy Kings, Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, Bad Bunny, Celia Cruz and more. The event will start at 13:00 h (but we know it easily extends beyond the concert).
- Preuvas indie – Johnny Boys ( December 30): Preuvas evening from 17:00 to 22:00h with Spanishindie anthems and DJ session.
- A contrarreloj ( December 31): New Year’s Eve morning with vermouth and versions of Estopa, Fito and El Canto del Loco to say goodbye to the last day of the year singing from 12:00h to 14:30h.

The best plans in Valencia
The Fever Originals agenda for December brings unique proposals: from the dazzling Ballet of Lights: Sleeping Beauty (with costumes illuminated in the dark) to the interactive theater of The Jury Experience: Death by AI (Dec 26), where the audience decides the verdict.
Music also stars this month with The Jazz Room: Tribute to Soul and the magical Candlelight concerts (Vivaldi, Soundtracks or Queen vs. ABBA).

The most Christmas towns of the Valencian Community

A route through the towns that live Christmas with greater intensity. From the turronera tradition of Xixona or Casinos to the magic of Alcoi or Peñíscola, these municipalities are transformed in December offering markets, gastronomic fairs and a unique festive atmosphere in the region with more Christmas products in Spain.

Visit the Santos Juanes
After five years of restoration, the considered “second cathedral” of Valencia reopens its doors recovering all its historical splendor. The great novelty is the immersive experience Barroc, a video mapping show that digitally recreates the Palomino frescoes lost in the fire of 1936, mixing heritage and technology to fill the artistic void of the temple.
Entrance: General visit 13€ / Experience ‘Barroc’ 15€ (reduced rates available).

Special Christmas agenda at the Centro de Arte Hortensia Herrero
If there is a magical place in Valencia, it is the CAHH and this year comes with a special Christmas program designed for everyone to enjoy. An agenda with varied activities that includes a concert of Christmas carols performed by the Cor Jover Virelai of white voices, a nativity scene by the Valencian nativity scene maker Pedro Ródenas, creative workshops for the little ones and night guided tours to enjoy this unique art center from different and creative perspectives.

The new Michelin Star 15 min from Valencia.
Recently awarded its first Michelin Star 2025, chef Roger Julián’s project offers an intimate experience with open kitchen where the diner interacts with the creative process. His proposal is based on market produce and the territory, with the particularity that the space is transformed to offer cooking workshops on days off.
Entrance: Tasting menus from €68 to €105.

Peñíscola’s Christmas Market: Drones and magic by the sea

Less than two hours from Valencia, this coastal town inaugurates its Nordic-style market at the foot of the castle. The plan includes crafts, sweets, festive lighting around the old town and a videomapping on the wall on selected dates in December.
Entrance: Free admission.

Valencia Marathon

The best marathon in Spain returns to Valencia next Sunday, December 7. Records will be sought in a circuit conducive to professionals and Valencia will turn to the race.

San Silvestre

The last race of the year can be run in costume or not, but it is a good way to put the finishing touch to 2025. For 5 kilometers run through the center of Valencia and collaborate for a good cause.
