Central Market
We start our list with the flagship of Valencian gastronomy. This market has inside bars and stalls that allow you to make a stop in the middle of the maelstrom of this site. From early in the morning until closing, we recommend you try the bar at Central Bar by Ricard Camarena, or the best delicatessen product at Super Gourmet (in the market’s outdoor bars).
Also, if you are looking for a picnic around the market, but you want a product already prepared and ready to eat, your place is UNO. It is inside the Mercat. You can drink coffee at the Retrogusto bar, also inside. Times: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Saturday.

Mercabañal
A new gastronomic space in the heart of Cabanyal. This is how Mercabañal was born. It houses four different spaces – El Bar, La Freiduría, El Ultramarinos, La Paraeta and Pizza Lab – whose common thread is the quality of the raw materials and the nods to the tradition of the neighborhood from a contemporary and gastronomic perspective.
📍 Eugenia Viñes, 255.
Colon Market
Another classic in the center of Valencia that houses some of the best restaurants in the city, such as the Japanese Momiji or the casual proposal of Ricard Camarena in Habitual. It also has a terrace where you can have an appetizer, taste a fresh horchata or try some excellent cakes such as the ones at Ma Khin Café. You also shouldn’t overlook the signature snacks with authentic craft beers from Las Cervezas del Mercado.

Mosén Sorell Market
Close to the main points of interest of the city such as the Torres de Quart and Serranos, the IVAM or the neighborhood of El Carmen, this small gastronomic space gives us the opportunity to have an informal meal around some oysters at a good price as those of the Ostreria del Carmen or enjoy a good wine (with appetizer) in Vinostrum. Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
📍 Plaça de Mossén Sorell.
