From now until early January, Valencia will be decked out with Christmas trees and candlelit Christmas concerts.

Christmas Markets in Valencia
There is less time left to stroll among Christmas markets. So soon we can do our Christmas shopping around the Lonja, the Ciutat de les Arts, the Lluís Vives or the Plaza de la Reina.
Christmas under the sea at the Ocenogràfic
Until January 6, the youngest members of the family can take part in “Christmas under the sea” at the Oceanogràfic de València. It is a day full of workshops and activities that relate the magic of Christmas with knowledge about the sea and the marine ecosystem. Ideal for learning and having fun at the same time.

Visit a Christmas village in the center of Valencia
From December 21 to January 5, in the area outside the Teatro La Plazeta will be installed a Christmas village with ice rink, the largest inflatable in Europe and a walk with illuminated trees and real snow.
Christmas lights

The most beautiful thing about Christmas is strolling through the illuminated streets. When it gets dark so early, seeing the illuminated buildings and stores always brings us joy. This year, in addition, the City Council will increase the budget for Christmas lighting, so we can enjoy a spectacle never seen before.
The official lighting day will be December 4 at 7:30 pm.
Ice skating in Valencia

Even if it’s not very cold here, ice skating is always a fun option. This year, because of the DANA, only two of the four ice rinks in the city have opened.
One is in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and the other in the CC Bonaire.
Visit the largest nativity scene in Spain

In Xàtiva the largest nativity scene in the country is made and it is life-size. It will be released next December 5, coinciding with the bridge of the Constitution, and can be seen until January 6, 2025.
The nativity scene will be 100m long, as it will be installed on a linear surface, and 1.5m wide. The figures will be life-size.
Christmas Fair in Xixona

If there is something that is always present on Valencian tables during the Christmas holidays is turron and if it is from Xixona, even better.
From December 5 to 8, a large Christmas fair is held in this municipality with nougat, sweets and other typical products of this season. It is an ideal occasion to buy all the desserts for this Christmas 2024-2025.
