In Valencia we are not made for the cold. Snow repels us and when it falls (rarely) there is no other topic of conversation for the whole day. A strange phenomenon because at the same time we love to go ice skating.
During these dates the city and its surroundings are full of ice skating rinks where we can try to emulate Javier Fernandez as if we were in the Olympic Games or simply to get started in these icy arts. If this Christmas you want to skate in Valencia, take a pen and paper and write it down.
Ice rink in the Town Hall Square in Valencia.
The Town Hall Square becomes during Christmas the epicenter of the celebrations. And there we can find the magic of Christmas in a few square meters: trees, nativity scenes, lights, ice rink, carousel…
One of its great attractions is the ice rink that is installed at the end of November until January 6. In 2024, this ice skating rink in Valencia will be open from Monday to Sunday from 11 am to 11 pm, except on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, when it will close at 8 pm.
The sessions are 30 minutes long and the price ranges from 6€ to 9€.
Bonaire ice rink
It is the only one that remains open throughout the year and you will find it in the surroundings of the CC Bonaire in Aldaia. However, after the passage of the DANA it had to close its doors for a few weeks.
Now it has reopened, so we can enjoy this ice rink in Valencia where we can skate and have a great time.
Valencia Christmas Town
Outside the Teatro La Plazeta, a large Christmas village will be installed until January 5. Among its attractions we can find an ice rink, over 350m2, and the largest inflatable in Europe.
The ticket, which costs 8 €, includes entrance to the enclosure and a 30-minute ice skating session.
