DroneArt Show for the first time in Valencia, a plan to enjoy with the family (March 20 and 21)
A visual and accessible plan for all ages as it is outdoors: light figures in the sky, recognizable music, and a format that invites the whole family to enjoy a surprising and easy-to-follow show. DroneArt Show comes to the Ricardo Tormo Circuit next March with 1,000 drones, 5,000 candles, and a live string quartet with a repertoire of classics, turning the sky of Valencia into a sensory space where technology and classical music dialogue.
Location:Exit, Autovía del Este, 334 (Cheste)
Dates: March 20 and 21
Kids Xperience Arena
With colorful castles, secret tunnels, and areas full of imagination, Kids Xperience Arena seems more like a magical land than a playground. Here, children ages 2 to 10 can run, climb, and create while adults watch with envy (and probably some temptation to join in).
📅 Date and times: Friday: 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday: 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday: 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
📍Location: Arena Shopping Center.
Archaeological Museum of La Almoina
Next to the cathedral stands La Almoina, a center of urban history in Valencia and one of the best archaeological centers in Europe. Not only is it an ideal place to visit with children in Valencia, but there have also been active excavations since 1985 that you can watch as they progress, constituting a true historical anthology.
Location: LaAlmoina, Pl. de Dècim Juni Brut, s/n, (Ciutat Vella)
Tickets: General €2, Reduced €1.
Boat trip on the Albufera
A boat trip on the Albufera can be the perfect way to round off a day spent discovering Valencia or eating paella in El Palmar. Baby strollers can be taken on the Albufera boats, so if you are traveling with very young children, this is a perfect plan. Even so, we always recommend checking with the trip organizers.
Boat trips depart from the jetty on the Saler road, in Catarroja, or by prior reservation with other organizers in the area.
📍 Albufera de Valencia (El Saler, El Palmar, Catarroja).
An afternoon at the beach
Valencia has some of the best beaches in Spain. They offer all kinds of services and many also have children’s play areas. A more relaxed plan, perfect for the summer months.
Gulliver and other playgrounds

Gulliver is Valencia’s premier children’s park. Jonathan Swift’s story comes to life with this structure that recreates the giant’s body with slides, walkways, and stairs. It is one of the best playgrounds in Valencia, although there are others that we also recommend.
The park’s opening hours vary: From October to February, it is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. During the months of April, May, June, and September, the park is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. without interruption, and during the months of July and August, the hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
📍 Turia Gardens, section XII.
Old Tooth Warehouse
The home of Spain’s most famous mouse, Ratoncito Pérez, is on Calle Borrull. Here he has his warehouse, where he tells his story to anyone who dares to cross the threshold. More than 5,000 people have already done so in a venue that combines shows with entertainment for children.
📍 Carrer de Borrull, 16.
Trampolines
The largest trampoline park in Spain is in Valencia, although you’ll have to travel a little north. Urban Planet is located in Sagunto and is the leader in family leisure and trampolines. One hour of jumping costs €10 (as of June 2023). It has 4,300m2 of play area, so it will be very difficult to get bored.
📍 VidaNova Parc Shopping Center.
Toy Soldier Museum
L’Iber is the largest toy soldier museum in the world. It has 95,000 pieces spread over 15 rooms, giving this space a unique atmosphere that combines history, craftsmanship, and a great love for these figurines. Through the toy soldiers, we can explore the history of Spain in important events such as the Battle of Almansa and the Napoleonic invasion. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
📍 C/ dels Cavallers, 20,
Museu de les Ciències
The Museu de les Ciències has become a benchmark for interactive science and offers many workshops and exhibitions. We recommend “The Science of Pixar,” where you can discover the world of Pixar through tactile and interactive experiences. On the third floor, you’ll find an exhibition that’s ideal for families to visit and learn about the planet Mars. Reservations are required for the workshops, and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult who must also purchase a ticket.
Hemisfèric
Another great plan is to enjoy a 2D or 3D digital projection at the Hemisfèric. This unique and spectacular building designed by Santiago Calatrava, which represents the human eye, hides amazing audiovisual projections with a multi-projection system. It also has a program that is ideal for all ages.
Museum World of Illusions
Next to the well-known Calle de los Cestos and the Olympia Theater, marvel at the interactive installations and works of art that will challenge your perception of reality. You will find yourself in a world of surreal scenes, tricks that will fool your eyes, tunnels that seem endless, and interactive experiences. Open Monday to Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Candlelight
Children have a great capacity to enjoy music, and Candlelight knows this. That’s why the series of candlelit concerts invites you to enjoy a unique experience with the little ones ( aged 8 and up), enjoying a magical evening filled with classical music and many other genres under the glow of thousands of LED candles.
📍 Various locations.
Fun Jump
A 2,500-square-meter trampoline park. An ideal place to hang out with kids. Located at Calle del Camí Fus 68 in Massanassa, it has more than 70 interconnected trampolines and different areas where you can have a great time jumping. With an open field area, basketball zone, parkour, confrontation road, ninja zone, climbing wall, foam pool, Olympic trampolines, and an exclusive area for children under 7 years old.
The Bluey Show

The children’s cartoon series starring a family of dogs comes to Valencia on the weekend of November 16 and 17 at the Palacio de Congresos de Valencia. The show, which has already toured other countries before arriving in Spain, has been acclaimed by audiences. It is a fun puppet show that will appeal to all audiences.
