The most economical Michelin-starred menu in Valencia this 2025 is being cooked 45 kilometers south of Valencia city. The restaurant Origen, which in 2024 received a Michelin star for the first time, is the place that offers the cheapest tasting menu this 2025 after analyzing a dozen “starred” restaurants in the province.
It is 66 euros (2 euros less than other proposals such as Simposio or Lienzo), is served from Wednesday to Sunday and consists of 3 snack-type starters, 4 tasting dishes, a dessert and petits fours as closing.

The menu, named after “Carcaixent” (the town where the restaurant is located), focuses on a Mediterranean proposal with local and seasonal products.

The proposal includes in the price the first service of bread with organic oil, although the water service has a cost of 3 euros per person. In addition, the proposal can be adapted to vegan or vegetarian cuisine.

Behind the concept of Origen is Àlex Vidal, a chef with international experience in restaurants in Singapore, Mexico, Austria and the United Kingdom, as well as others in the national territory such as Valencia, Catalonia, Castilla-La Mancha and the Basque Country.
Formed in Cullera, Origen is a dream, to create a sustainable space with products from Carcaixent and surrounding municipalities to develop their own proposal.
In addition to the Carcaixent menu, the restaurant awarded with a Sol Repsol also serves two other options: Origen menu, for 72 euros, and the Ternils menu, for 82 euros.
