The Generalitat Valenciana has announced this Monday the implementation of the extraordinary metro service for the Fallas 2025, which will start next Friday, March 14 during the eve of the plantá and l’Albà de les Falles.
From March 15 to 19, the special metro plan will have 120 hours of uninterrupted service to facilitate travel to mascletás, castles, offering and Cremá.
In addition, this year the 24-hour service will also be extended to substitute bus services enabled by the disabling of the service between Valencia Sud and Castelló because of the dana.
Metro timetables in Fallas 2025
The frequencies by line can be consulted on the Metrovalencia website. The increase in frequencies will begin to be applied from Friday night, March 14.
From 3 a.m. onwards, they will be adapted according to service demand, as a decrease in the number of passengers is expected after the end of the Fallas castles scheduled at 23:59 hours.
Strike in Fallas
The Fallas 2025 will be affected by strikes in Metrovalencia, called by the unions during the key days of the celebration, which will alter the special service prepared by the Generalitat Valenciana.
Specifically, the metro will operate with minimum services, that is, less frequencies, on the following dates:
- March 14: From 12:00 to 14:30 hours.
- March 15: from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 20:00 to 22:00.
- March 16: from 00:05 to 02:00, from 11:30 to 14:00, from 19:30 to 21:30 and from 22:45 to 00:00.
- March 17: 00:30 to 02:30, 12:30 to 15:00 and 20:30 to 22:30.
- March 18: from 01:00 to 03:00, from 12:45 to 15:15, from 17:00 to 19:00 and from 22:45 to 00:00.
- March 19 (San José): from 04:30 to 06:30 and from 12:40 to 15:00.
Renfe and Adif workers have also called stoppages for March 17 and 19, affecting the Cercanías, Media Distancia and AVE services.
More metrobus in Fallas
The Generalitat has also communicated that additional Metrobus services will be implemented to meet the demands associated with the activities of these Fallas 2025 from locations in the metropolitan area.
Specifically, from March 15 to 19 ATMV will reinforce the following lines: south corridors (to Albal), west (to Torrent and Quart de Poblet), northwest (to Llíria and Paterna) and north (to Port Saplaya, El Puig and Sagunt and Port de Sagunt).
From March 15, lines L160, L161, L164, L170 and L180 and, from Sunday 16, lines L112, L115, L140 and L145, will have more buses.
On the night shift, lines L150, L153 and L161, the start and end times will be the same as on Fridays and Saturdays, but frequencies will be increased on these lines.
EMT Valencia will also have 24-hour service
The special service for the Fallas 2025 EMT Valencia will be activated from March 15, with a total of 25 lines with 24-hour service until after the Cremá.

How to go to the Fallas 2025 from the localities affected by the dana
Metrovalencia will continue these Fallas linking lines 1, 2 and 7 start and end their route in València Sud, with the bus service from the towns of Picanya and Paiporta. This service will also be provided during the nights of Fallas until 06:00 hours.
The shuttle between Torrent and Valencia will also have a night schedule to connect at Safranar station with lines 1, 2 and 7 of Metrovalencia.
The shuttle buses between Picassent and Valencia will extend their service, while those that link with the towns of the region of La Ribera will run on their usual schedule. This stop is located at Avenida Giorgeta, 18 in Valencia, in order to connect from there with the Jesus station (Lines 1, 2 and 7) of Metrovalencia.
