Valencia enters a new edition of the Fallas 2024. From the end of February until March 19, the city turns to the Josephine festival, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In this article we will explain the official program of acts and events (without forgetting the fireworks) that will take place between February and March 2024.

Saturday, March 2nd
17:30 h: Ninot Parade with the following itinerary: Glorieta, Calle La Paz, San Vicente, Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Marqués de Sotelo and ending at Xàtiva street. The parade will be closed by the entrance of the first pieces of the Municipal Falla “Two pigeons, one branch”.
Sunday, March 3rd
06:30 h: Prayer of the Falleras Mayores de Valencia and their Courts of Honor to Santa Barbara in the Church of Sant Joan del Hospital.
07:15 h: Children’s “Despertà”.
07:30 h: “Macrodespertà” promoted by the Falla Corona that will end in the Town Hall Square with a firework display. Afterwards, a fallero breakfast will be offered to all participants.
12:00 h: Entrance of music bands.
14:00 h: “Mascletà” in the Town Hall Square (hereinafter, see program of mascletàs and castles).
19:00 h: “Crida” in the Serranos Towers, with light and color effects show.
Sunday, March 10th
11:30 h: Tribute to the Painter Segrelles organized by the commission “Plaza del Pintor Segrelles” and with the attendance of the “Fallera Mayor de Valencia” and her Court of Honor.
Thursday, March 14th
17:00 h: Closing of the exhibition of the children’s ninot.
17:30 h: Reading of the popular verdict and proclamation of the “Ninot Indultat Infantil” of 2024.
17:45 h: Collection of the ninots by the commissions until 20:00 h.
Friday, March 15th
09:00 h: “Plantà” of all the children’s fallas.
17:00 h: Closing of the “ninot” exhibition.

16:30 h: Children’s Awards Ceremony at the rostrum installed in the Town Hall for the distribution of prizes obtained for the children’s Fallas in the different sections, as well as children’s presentations, Ninot Parade and children’s Fallas llibrets.
Sunday, March 17
09:30 h: Awards ceremony at the rostrum installed in the Town Hall for the distribution of prizes obtained for the Fallas in the different sections, as well as the competitions of illuminated streets, presentations and llibrets de falla.
15:30 – 01:00: Offering of flowers to the Mare de Déu.
Monday, March 18th
10:30 h: Tribute to the poet Maximiliano Thous, in his monument, located at the intersection of Sagunto and Maximiliano Thous streets.
12:00 h: Tribute to Maestro Serrano, to be held at his monument on Avenida del Reino de Valencia.
15:30 – 00:05: Offering of flowers to the Mare de Déu.
Tuesday, March 19th
11:00 h: Offering of flowers by the Falleres Mayores de Valencia and their Courts of Honor in front of the image of the Patriarch at the Bridge of Sant Josep.
12:00 h: Solemn Mass in honor of Sant Josep in the Cathedral of Valencia, officiated by the Archbishop of Valencia and offered by Junta Central Fallera and the Guild of Carpenters. With the attendance of the Falleras Mayores de València and their Courts of Honor.
19:00 h: Cavalcade of Fire: the official route will depart from Russafa Street, in the direction of Columbus Street to end at the Plaza de la Puerta del Mar.
20:00 h: “Cremà” of the children’s fallas.
20:30 h: “Cremà” of the children’s falla that has won the first prize in the Special Section.
21:00 h: “Cremà” of the children’s falla of the Town Hall Square.
22:00 h: “Cremà” of all the fallas of Valencia.
22:30 h: “Cremà” of the falla that has won the first prize in the Special Section.
23:00 h: “Cremà” of the falla of the Town Hall Square.
Mascletás, castles and fireworks shows.
In addition to the daily mascletás in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Valencia will celebrate during the month of March fireworks castles in the Alameda de Valencia and in the city center.
The Nit del Foc or the Cabalgata del Fuego are some of the events where gunpowder and thunder will not be missing.
