EMT Valencia will offer again its 24-hour service in about 25 lines of the city from March 15 on the occasion of the Fallas.
The municipal company has announced a 12% reinforcement in its bus service, which translates into a total of 3 million seats available during the big days of the festivities, from March 15 to 19.
This increase means 330,000 more seats than usual. All night lines, which also operate during daytime hours, will double their service and will maintain their activity uninterrupted from March 15 until after the Cremà.
Among these lines are 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10, 14, 16, 19, 24, 25, 25, 26, 27, 28, 60, 62, 64, 67, 70, 72, 73, 81, 93, 99 and C3, to which line 92 will be added from March 16.
In addition, during the coming weekend, from March 7 to 9, the EMT has enabled 105,000 additional seats to cope with the massive influx of people in mascletás, castles and events such as the Ninot Parade.
On the key days of the Fallas, and with the center closed to traffic, a special device will be activated that will relocate the EMT resources at times of greatest influx, such as the mascletás, the Offering, the Nit del Foc and the Nit de la Cremá.
Lines 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 14, 19, 19, 27, 35, 35, 40, 40, 60, 62, 67, 70, 71, 72 and 73 will reach Plaza de España; while lines 4, 6, 8, 11, 16, 26, 28, 32, 70, 71 and 81 will reach Plaza de Tetuán and Porta de la Mar.
Lines 10, 31, 64, 92 and 93 will run along Grandes Vias, and lines 13, 23, 24 and 25 will continue to Porta de la Mar.
These routes will allow easy access to the main points of celebration, including mascletás, offerings, concerts and fireworks, among other events.
