The Consell has approved the official working calendar for 2026 in the Comunitat Valenciana, which will include 12 paid and non-recoverable holidays.
The main novelty is the inclusion of San Juan, June 24, 2026, which will again be a holiday without the formula of “recoverable”, unlike 2025 when it was at the discretion of the agreed between company and workers.
It has taken into account the resolution of Les Corts that declares June 24 (San Juan) as a regional holiday on the occasion of Les Fogueres de Alacant.
The decree, approved in plenary session, has had the mandatory report of the Tripartite Council for the Development of Labor Relations and Collective Bargaining.
