Celebrate the 9th of October, day of the Valencian Community
October 9th is the day of the Valencian Community and both the 9th itself, as well as the days before, there are several activities scheduled to celebrate this holiday.

The Enguera Olive Oil Fair
For those who enjoy the authentic flavors of a lifetime, the Enguera Oil Fair is a great opportunity to get to know closely one of the pillars of the Mediterranean diet: olive oil. For three days, the Valencian town will become a showcase of local and gourmet products to taste and learn about the richness of olive oil in the area.
The fair will offer an agenda full of activities for all audiences. Food lovers will be able to enjoy oil tastings with food and wine pairings and attend liveshowcookings by local chefs. For a total immersion in the world of oil, the fair will also offer the possibility of guided visits to the oil mill of the Campoenguera Cooperative or to participate in the olive harvest. In addition to a much wider range of activities, catering, artisan and agri-food areas open to the public, there will be children’s workshops and cultural routes to discover first-hand the charm of Enguera.

Gastrónoma
This great gastronomic fair a benchmark in the sector, lands for the tenth year in Valencia to offer more than 28,000m2 of professional gastronomy within everyone’s reach. Focused on the Mediterranean diet and local produce, it will have more than 300 exhibitors who will delight attendees with the treasures of our gastronomy: from haute cuisine to our most typical dishes, such as the essential rice dishes or the vindicable esmorzaret. Italian cuisine will also have a strong presence, with delicious focaccias, pizzas and panettone, and other international cuisines.
But this is only part of it: 10 stages with live showcookings, gourmet bars (cheese, wine or oil), various competitions (such as beer pulling or baking) and workshops of the most varied, such as one on Portuguese cuisine or another on Sicilian cuisine. In short, a sensory journey in which any fan or professional of cooking or gastronomy will leave the most satisfied.

World premiere of La Ruta: modernity, culture and uncontrolled.
Bombas Gens presents this October a complete immersive exhibition about one of the great phenomena of Valencia in the 80s and 90s. This interactive exhibition aims to show the other side of “La Ruta del Bakalao“, as it was not only a party and debauchery, but also a moment of great cultural explosion for the city. It will feature immersive installations, light and sound effects, virtual reality experiences and testimonials from the protagonists.

Candlelight, a candlelight concert.

Enlightenment
