The Valencia City Council has prepared a special device for the celebration of the Night of San Juan, in the early hours of June 23rd to 24th.
More than 700 professionals of security, cleaning, emergencies, transport and social services will work in a coordinated way to attend the thousands of people who will go to the beaches of Valencia.
This year four Violet Points will be installed along the promenade to prevent and attend possible sexual aggressions.
24-hour public transport
To encourage the use of public transport, the EMT has activated a special reinforcement with more than 184,000 seats available on 13 key lines, which will operate with frequencies of up to 5 minutes from 16:00 hours on the 23rd until 9:00 am on the 24th.
This will be on lines 18, 19, 23, 24, 24, 25, 31, 32, 92, 93, 95, 98 and 99.
Metrovalencia has also announced a 24-hour device for the night of San Juan in Valencia, to be held from Monday 23 to Tuesday June 24 (holiday), to facilitate travel to the beaches of Valencia.
Bonfires yes, but not on the southern beaches.
As for the traditional bonfires, 25 tons of firewood will be distributed free of charge from 7:30 pm, from urban pruning, in nine marked points of the promenade.
It is strictly forbidden to light fires on the southern beaches, from Pinedo to Perellonet, because of its proximity to the Natural Park of Devesa-El Saler.
It is recommended to go to the beaches north of the city or near the Malvarrosa.
It is not allowed to access the beach with glass. Garbage bags will be distributed from 20 hours.
The device also includes an extensive health deployment with posts open throughout the night, life support ambulances and a field hospital.
In addition, 95 chemical toilets and information panels on fire zones, sanitary points and location of services will be installed.

Cab strike for San Juan
To this day is added the strike of the cab sector called by the Taxi Trade Union Federation of Valencia, which will be held from 21:00 on 23 to 6:00 on June 24.
The protest, focused on the fare policy and unfair competition from VTC, will coincide with one of the moments of greatest demand of the night.
