Metrovalencia has announced a 24-hour device for the night of San Juan in Valencia, to be held from Monday 23 to Tuesday June 24 (holiday), to facilitate travel to the beaches of Valencia.
The service will be uninterrupted from 9:00 p.m. on the 23rd until 7:00 a.m. the following day, with a total of 402 extraordinary circulations (153 metro and 249 streetcar). In total, more than 225,000 seats will be available.
In addition, the presence of security guards will be reinforced at the València Sud and Safranar interchanges to facilitate transfers between trains and buses before the full recovery of line 1 scheduled for June 27th.
How to go to the beach by public transport in San Juan
Lines 4 and 6 of the streetcar will have a 5-minute frequency between Trinitat and Platja Malva-rosa from 8:30 pm until midnight.
Thereafter, frequencies will be adjusted according to the time slot, ranging from 5 to 40 minutes depending on the section and line.
Line 8 (Marítim-Neptú) will operate with a fixed frequency of 20 minutes, while the new line 10 (Alacant-Natzaret) will provide continuous service with streetcars every 40 minutes, which will be reduced to 20 on the Alacant-Ciutat Arts Ciències/Justícia section.
All metro lines will also have night service. On lines 3 and 9 the Avinguda del Cid-Alboraya Peris Aragó section will be reinforced with trains every 10 minutes until 00:30 h, and then with trains every 20 minutes until dawn. There will be two additional trains to Rafelbunyol and two to Riba-roja de Túria.
Lines 5 and 7 will run every 15 minutes until 00:30 h between Colón and Marítim, and every 20 minutes during the rest of the night.
As for lines 1 and 2, they will maintain frequencies of 15 minutes until midnight on the Empalme-València Sud section, and then between 20 and 40 minutes depending on the destination.
From 2:00 am, trains will run every 40 minutes between València Sud and Empalme, and every 60-70 minutes to Seminari and Paterna.
For the municipalities of l’Horta Sud, special buses will run every 30 minutes between València Sud and Picanya/Paiporta, and between Safranar and Torrent, from 22:30 to 6:00 hours.

EMT in San Juan
The Municipal Transport Company of Valencia (EMT) will increase the number of buses for the night of San Juan.
The special service for the night of San Juan will be activated from 16:00 hours next Monday and will continue throughout the early hours of the morning and until 09:00 hours on Tuesday, on lines 18, 19, 23, 24, 25, 31, 32, 92, 93, 95, 98 and 99.
Most of these lines are expected to run with frequencies of up to 5 minutes during peak hours, both outbound and return.
Lines 18, 19, 32, 92, 92, 93, 95, 98 and 99 will be able to reach Las Arenas, Cabanyal – Canyamelar and Malva-rosa.
Line 31 goes to the beaches of Malva-rosa and Patacona.
Line 23 goes to Pinedo beach as well as lines 24 and 25. These last two lines also go to the beaches of El Saler and Perellonet/Perelló respectively.
