Valencians, 2025 is coming. Although there are still three months left to finish this 2024, we already have the calendar of working holidays for next year.
Therefore, we bring you a proposal to turn your 21 days of vacation into more than 50, because with organization, everything is possible. This way, with 3 days left over for you to distribute whenever you want, you will be able to spend more time with your family, friends and personal projects. You will be able to make excursions, trips or simply stay in the city and taste its gastronomy and enjoy all the plans it has to offer.
With our proposal, next 2025 you will be able to enjoy the whole week of fallas, 10 days in August or have a Christmas like when we used to go to school.
January
This year, January 1st falls on Wednesday and Epiphany, the 6th, on Monday, so if we want to have more than 10 days of vacation in a row, we will only have to spend 4 working days. Less than half!
In addition, the local holiday of San Vicente Mártir, also falls on Wednesday. We suggest you to extend the weekend and start it on Wednesday. In this way we will have 5 days of vacation with only 2 days of vacation at work.
March
March is the month of Las Fallas and nobody likes to work during that week. This year, in the city of Valencia, it has been decided that Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th of March, plus the day of San José on Wednesday 19th, will be local holidays in the city. With just two days of our 21 days of vacation, we will be able to enjoy 9 consecutive days without working.
Easter Week, April
This year’s Semana Santa gives us a perfect long weekend. Good Friday falls on Friday, April 18th and Easter Monday on the 21st. Here we recommend you not to spend any days and leave them for later, since the Easter long weekend is worth it alone.
April and March
Attention, a super long weekend is coming! In Valencia, we have a local holiday on Monday April 28, for San Vicente Mártir, and the Thursday of the same week coincides with Labor Day, May 1. Again, if we only ask for three days of holiday at work, we can enjoy 9 consecutive days of vacation.
We highly recommend you to do this long weekend, since the next holiday is not until 3 months later, in August. And with the good weather and the heat, we feel like getting out of the house and out of the office, rather than staying at work.
August
August 15 of this coming year will fall on a Friday. Perfect to organize our summer vacation and spend as few days as possible.
If we ask for a holiday from Monday, August 11, we will have more than a week off in the middle of summer to go to the beach, to some hidden cove or if we stay in the city, swim somewhere in the Turia.
October
If we follow this plan, we will arrive in October having spent only 15 days of vacation, and we still have 6 more to go.
In 2025, the Day of the Valencian Community, October 9th, will be on a Thursday. So it would be perfect to only have to ask for Friday off to have a 4-day long weekend spending only one.
December
Christmas 2025 can be one of the longest if we have organized well during the year. Here you have two options, you have 5 days left to spend, you can reserve them for summer or you can extend one day of Christmas.
December 25 falls on Thursday, so taking only the day of New Year’s Eve and the following Friday, spending only 2 days, we will have a Christmas of 5 days, and we will still have 3 days left to distribute throughout the year!
This is our proposal, but if you want to modify it, we leave here all the holidays of 2025 so you can extend your vacations to the maximum.
