From now until early January, Valencia will be decked out with Christmas trees and candlelit Christmas concerts.

It’s time to stroll among Christmas markets. You can already do your Christmas shopping around the Mercat Central, the Ciutat de les Arts, or the Plaza de la Reina.

The heart of the city dresses up for the holidays with proposals for the whole family. You can visit the nativity scene at the Palau de la Generalitat and bring the wishes of the little ones to the Royal mailbox.

New Year’s Eve fireworks

Valencia will welcome 2026 with a huge pyrotechnic display that will light up the city simultaneously from three key points: the City Hall square, the Monteolivete Bridge and Section XIV of the old Turia riverbed.
At exactly 00:00 on New Year’s Eve, these three fireworks displays will be set off in unison to bid farewell to 2025 from the heart of the city and the surroundings of the City of Arts and Sciences.
Christmas musical route through Valencia

Valencia is transformed into a large outdoor stage to celebrate the holidays with a sound proposal that runs throughout the city with dramatized visits and workshops.
The great attraction of this season premieres an unprecedented space where a double daily session of choral recitals and traditional folklore will be offered.
This cultural initiative fills with melody both the historic center and different districts, offering a unique atmosphere for your winter walks from December 22 to January 4, at 18:00 and 19:00 hours.
Christmas activities in the center of Valencia

The heart of the city is transformed into a festive theme park thanks to the merchants of the historic center. From November 28 until Epiphany, the Plaza del Ayuntamiento will host its two great classics: the skating rink (essential to wear gloves) and the carousel, generally open from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, with early closing on the 24th and 31st.
In addition, the tourist train will offer routes through the area on selected dates in December and January, departing from Roger de Lauria Street.

Confirmed by the City Hall: this is the definitive schedule of Christmas lights in Valencia. In addition, the Town Hall Square of Valencia will host every Saturday from November 22 to January 5 a small fireworks display at 6:30 pm.

The festive season arrives in the city with a unique sensory proposal at the Ateneo Mercantil. Let yourself be enveloped by the warmth of thousands of candles while live musicians perform a repertoire ranging from classical pieces such as The Nutcracker to the most emblematic Christmas carols and pop hits. An ideal sound refuge to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of December.

La Central de la Navidad

The green lung of the city is once again transformed into the epicenter of the Valencian Christmas. From December 26 to January 4, the Parc Central hosts a varied program of free outdoor activities for the whole family to enjoy. You will be able to approach in general schedule from 11:30 to 20:30 h, except on the dates indicated: December 31 will be open only in the morning (10:00 to 14:00 h) and January 1 awaits you in the afternoon (16:00 to 21:00 h).

New Year’s Eve at the Town Hall Square

For next December 31, the city will live the traditional New Year’s Eve chimes in the Town Hall Square. There will be music and pyrotechnics to say goodbye to 2025.
