Parades and the first large Fallas castle. This Saturday, February 28, Valencia will celebrate the 2026 Fallas Ninot Parade with a parade through the city center and the subsequent entry of the pieces of the municipal Fallas “Hope.”
The parade will start at 5:30 p.m. Dozens of Fallas committees will parade through the streets of Valencia in costume, riding on floats and with one central element: satire.
This parade takes the central theme of the Fallas, humor, to give the festival a carnival atmosphere.
In the past, the parade was designed to take the ninots (figures) of the committees to the Ninot Exhibition, but over time this objective has fallen into disuse and today only the main figures of the municipal falla are delivered before the plantà (planting) and Fallas week.
Route of the 2026 Ninot Parade

In 2026, the Cabalgata del Ninot will follow the following route: starting at the Glorieta in the Plaza de Alfons el Magnànim, Calle La Pau, Sant Vicent, Plaza de l’Ajuntament, Marqués de Sotelo and ending at Calle Xàtiva. The departure time is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
The parade will close with the entrance of the first pieces of the Municipal Fallas “Hope.”
Fireworks display at the end

Saturday will also be the first day of nighttime fireworks from the Town Hall square.
At 11:59 p.m., the sky above the Plaza del Ayuntamiento will light up with a large fireworks display called “Previa fallera” by Pirotecnia Peñarroja.
The first mascletá on the official mascletá calendar will be fired on Sunday, March 1, at 2:00 p.m., on a day that will also feature a nighttime fireworks display.
