
The municipal falla of the Valencia City Council has surprised many times throughout history for its daring and unique designs. It is, in fact, the only monument fallero of Valencia that does not enter into competition and, perhaps for this reason, its creators have dared to try almost impossible designs.

A visitable Eiffel Tower
In 1966 the artist José Barea Sánchez surprised with his visitable Eiffel tower. It was possible to access this falla and look out from the second floor. An excellent recreation of the Parisian monument.
The Statue of Liberty
In 1973 Valencia became New York with “La Llibertat”, a work by Vicente Luna Cerveró.
Disney’s castle
Only the music of the Disney credits was missing to this recreation of the famous castle. It happened in 1985 under the title “Fantasy” and was the work of the artist Manuel Martín López.
Trojan Horse
In 1963 a giant Trojan horse occupied the Town Hall Square of Valencia, then Plaza del Caudillo, as part of the work of Ricardo Rubert Andrés.
The Congress of Deputies
In 1977, with the arrival of democracy in Spain, the situation was satirized with the Congress of the “Disputados”. Work of Vicente Luna Cerveró.
The Meditator
The coronavirus pandemic turned it into a symbol in 2020. It was burned a year later, in 2021, in the middle of summer and it is already the history of Valencia. La Meditadora by Escif and the artists Manolo Martín and José Ramón Espuig will remain in the memory.
A Concorde airplane
The Concorde concord was planted in 1981 by Vicente Luna Cerveró. Valencia looked like the Manises airport.
Michelangelo’s David
In 1991, “En la terreta de l’art” brought Michelangelo’s David to the center of Valencia. It was a creation of José Martínez Mollá.
