The 2026 Fallas will once again be a space for experimentation and decentralization of the festival. The experimental pyrotechnics festival “Pólvora a la vespra” will return to five Fallas commissions on Friday, February 28.
The Mestre Gozalbo-Comte d’Altea, Plaça del Pintor Segrelles, Jesús-San Francesc de Borja, Convent Jerusalem-Matemàtic Marzal, and Mossén Sorell-Corona committees will share the shows starting next Friday and on another day scheduled for March 7.
Pólvora a la vespra 2026 program

February 28 will be the busiest day, with four fireworks displays scheduled in four committees:
- Falla Mestre Gozalbo-Comte d’Altea: at 7:30 p.m. with fireworks by Pirotècnia Caballer FX.
- Falla Plaça del Pintor Segrelles: at 8:15 p.m. by Pirotècnia Vulcano.
- Falla Jesús-San Francesc de Borja: at 8:45 p.m., with Pirotècnia Caballer FX.
- Falla Convent Jerusalem-Matemàtic Marzal: on Friday at 9:30 p.m. with a show by Pirotècnia Aitana.
The fireworks will return the following week to close the festival Mossén Sorell-Corona Falla: The Carmen neighborhood will light up the night at 8:45 p.m. with fireworks by Pirotècnia Vulcano.
