2023 is a year of novelties for the Nit del Foc. The most awaited pyrotechnic show of the Fallas will have a new location this year, next to the Palau de les Arts, and a new schedule. For 2023, the Fallas program has modified the schedules for the firing of the castles that will begin on Thursday, March 16 until the early hours of March 18 to 19.
The Nit del Foc will be fired this year half an hour earlier than usual (until 2022 it was always fired half an hour later than the rest of the castles). The scheduled time is at 01:00 hours.
This schedule will be the same for the castle from March 17 to 18, when Hermanos Caballer will fire from Les Arts at 1 am.
The castle from Thursday 16 to Friday 17 will be half an hour earlier, according to the official program. Pirotecnia Aitana will light the fuse at 00:30 hours.
This year’s Nit del Foc will be the Nit del Foc with the largest budget in history, with a total budget allocated to pyrotechnics of 465,000 euros (30% more than in 2022).
As for the pyrotechnic material, in 2023 almost 2,000 kilos of gunpowder have been reserved that Pyrotechnics of the Mediterranean will be in charge of firing to illuminate the sky of Valencia for 20 minutes.
Outside the security perimeter enabled for this castle, there are several places that are known to be the best to see it live. The novelty this year is the Alcalde Reig street and the vicinity of the Palau de les Arts and the Hemisfèric. It is the best area to vibrate and not miss anything.
