Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia
It is one of the most important art galleries in Spain, and here you will find works by Sorolla, Velázquez, Goya, El Greco and Van Dyck. Visiting it is free at any time of the year. Ideal if you are looking for Renaissance paintings, sculptures and archaeological pieces ranging from the fifteenth to the nineteenth century.

IVAM – Valencian Institute of Modern Art
This museum is a benchmark for modern and contemporary art in Spain. Its permanent collection includes works by Julio González and Ignacio Pinazo, as well as temporary exhibitions that explore various artistic currents of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Centre del Carme Contemporary Culture (CCCC)
Located in a former convent in the center of Valencia, this space is worth a visit for its temporary exhibitions with a very careful and contemporary selection, as well as for its interior cloister. Since 2025 it has its own cafeteria and is free of charge.

González Martí National Museum of Ceramics and Sumptuary Arts.
Located in the Palace of the Marquis of Dos Aguas, this museum exhibits an impressive collection of Valencian and national ceramics. It is the main museum in Spain in this field.

Bancaja Foundation
What if you start your weekend with a classic? The Bancaja Foundation is a well-established private institution in Valencia for its approach of the great Spanish painters such as Sorolla or Picasso to the general public. Its headquarters, located in Plaza de Tetuán, occupies an emblematic 12,000 m² building in the heart of the city, where exhibitions, cultural activities and social programs are held throughout the year.

Bombas Gens Centre d’Arts
Renamed in 2024 as a museum of digital arts, it is located in a former hydraulic pump factory built between 1930 and 1935 in Art Deco style, rehabilitated for the occasion. It also has an air raid shelter from the Civil War and more than 2,500 m² distributed in four warehouses, including the largest metaverse room in Europe.

Príncipe Felipe Science Museum
Part of the City of Arts and Sciences complex designed by Santiago Calatrava, this interactive museum brings science and technology closer to the general public with periodic exhibitions and talks focused on the dissemination of any scientific or astronomical topic.

CaixaForum Valencia
The Ágora building within the same architectural complex houses the space created by CaixaBank, which focuses on contemporary traveling exhibitions. It has the largest vertical garden in Europe.

Hortensia Herrero Art Center
The Hortensia Herrero Art Center (CAHH) recently opened at the Valeriola Palace with an exhibition focused on contemporary art. It consists of more than 100 works by international artists such as Anselm Kiefer, Anish Kapoor, George Baselitz, Olafur Eliasson, Jaume Plensa, Cristina Iglesias and Mat Collishaw.
