After a summer of closed stations, reduced service, and renovation work, Metrovalencia is resuming its regular schedule and route to welcome the month of September and help students and workers get back into their routine.
Starting today, Monday, August 31, the Aragó, Amistat, Ayora, and Marítim stations are open again, and lines 5 and 7 have resumed their regular routes . These stations had been closed for 67 days due to renovation and improvement work on the tracks and tunnel infrastructure.
However, it won’t be until tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1, that the regular schedule will resume and the summer schedule—which reduced the frequency of metro and tram service by 33% Monday through Friday—will be discontinued.
Service on the last metro train between Mislata-Almassí and Aeroport —which operated on Line 3 from Sunday through Thursday—will also resume tomorrow. This last train was suspended last July to facilitate and expand renovation work on the section that runs through six different stops before reaching Manises Airport.
Metrovalencia has already updated the new schedules on its website, so if you plan to travel using its transit network, we recommend checking the schedules and frequencies directly on its platform, at least during the first few days of the new schedule.
