Jack Black ‘s charisma and Valencian gastronomic excellence have starred in a viral encounter on YouTube. The American actor, in the middle of promoting his new movie Anaconda, has had the opportunity to taste the famous burger of Hundred Burgers, the chain founded in Valencia that in 2025 reached the number 1 position in the ranking “The World’s Best Burgers”.
For the tasting, which took place during Black’s appearance on the popular YouTube channel Jolly, Alex González-Urbón, co-founder and chef of Hundred, came along. The idea: to prepare the burger for him on the spot, which left the actor completely flabbergasted.
“Hemsworth, if you ever eat a burger, make it this one.”
Between bites, and visibly impressed by the quality of the meat (Galician cow aged 60 days), Jack Black took the opportunity to throw a funny dart at his fellow actor, Chris Hemsworth.
Talking about the physique of action actors, Black joked that Hemsworth’s abs “have never seen a cheeseburger” and that he’s probably a “lettuce burger guy.” He did, however, look into the camera to make a very serious recommendation to the Aussie:
“Hemsworth, if you ever eat a burger, I recommend this one. We’ve entered a new level. It’s perfection made burger.”
The secret sauce, in a shampoo bottle.

How did Hundred manage to move its product to the London premiere? The owner of Hundred confessed to Jack Black that, in order to transport the secret sauce on the plane without checking luggage, he had to pack it in 100 ml travel bottles, pretending to be shampoo.
According to the article published by The World’s Best Burgers, Hundred Burgers was the best in the world in 2025 after evaluating 900 hamburger restaurants in 63 countries.
The Valencian brand, which was born in 2020 from the hand of Alex González-Urbón and Ezequiel Maldjian, has become the only non-US burger restaurant to lead this ranking in its entire history.
Recently, the chain has opened a new location in Paterna that creates a typical U.S. house, where customers can eat the burger anywhere on the premises, without prior reservation.
