After the floods caused by the DANA last October, many residents of the districts of Valencia were left without a car and suffered material damage to their homes. Many of them have not yet recovered and, although there is no longer a media emergency, they still need help.
For this reason, various organizations have taken measures to help alleviate the effects of this catastrophe on families, such as vouchers and aid for businesses, cars, students…
Now, the City Council of Valencia, who had already joined these bonuses, has created a new public transport pass so that residents of the affected districts can travel free on EMT during 2025.
To this is also added the decision to continue offering free transport to children under 31 years and EMT fares will continue to have a 50% discount in many cases.
