The Valencia City Council has scheduled the official act of lighting the city’s Christmas lights for next Friday, November 21. The event, which will mark the beginning of the festivities, will take place between 19:00 and 20:00 hours.
This lighting will put into operation the lighting deployment planned for 2025 and 2026, which for the second consecutive year has a budget of 1.1 million euros.
The epicenter of the celebration will be the Town Hall Square, where the installation of a main tree 25 meters high, five meters higher than two years ago, is being finalized.
2 weeks ahead of schedule

This year the lighting is 2 weeks earlier, as it usually took place during the first weekend of December, coinciding with the Valencia Marathon.
The assembly work of this central element, which began on Tuesday, is expected to be completed on Friday, November 14.
The square will also be decorated with ornamentation on the surrounding trees, seven “blanket stars” and a new decoration on the town hall façade.
The municipal lighting plan includes a total of 45 Christmas trees and 274 luminous arches distributed throughout all districts and districts of the city.
