In a statement on social networks, the consistory is given one more day to assess the end of the restrictions. “The forecast at this time is that the situation improves for Friday, when the measures adopted would be lifted,” it details.
Valencia decreed the weather alert on Monday March 3 before the yellow and orange warnings declared by AEMET that would affect the province throughout the day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Both schools and universities and institutes remain closed, although in those where it has been possible, such as the Universitat de València and the Politècnica, classes have resumed online.
The mascletás suspended so far are those of Tuesday 4, Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 March.
The Conselleria de Sanidad has also cancelled “all scheduled activity” outpatient and hospital except for oncology, dialysis and surgery with admission, provided that travel is possible.
