Visiting Valencia by bike is much easier (and cheaper) than you think. If you are visiting Valencia or just want to make an excursion around the city moving by bike, the activity will not be expensive.
The public service Valenbisi offers different options, but there is a “trick” that allows you to tour the city for just 4 euros a day.
The key is the short term pass: for 13,30 € you can use the bikes for 7 days, which is less than 2 € per day. If you are only staying for a weekend or three days, the real cost is around 4 euros per day.
There is also the 1-day ticket, which for 3.99 euros the first 30 minutes of each trip are free.
If you need more time, reduced rates apply: 1,04 € for the first hour and 3,12 € for each additional hour, which will be charged through your Valenbisi account.
The only requirement to use these bikes, unlike those of rental companies, is that you must always leave the bike at an official station before 30 minutes to avoid surcharges. In Valencia there are about 300 Valenbisi stations spread throughout the city.
This way, you can link short trips, return the bike and take another one, which will allow you to move around Valencia at practically no extra cost.
