Valencia will put in place a special traffic device on the occasion of the Crida this coming Sunday, February 23. The events scheduled to kick off the Fallas 2025 will cause traffic cuts in different areas of Valencia, mainly in the vicinity of the Plaza del Ayuntamiento during the morning and on the right side of the Turia Garden in the afternoon and evening.
Festive morning with the macrodespertà and the mascletà.
The celebrations will begin early, with the macrodespertà and the children’s macrodespertà between 7:15 and 8:00 am. The route will start in the Plaza de Alfonso el Magnánimo and will advance along the streets of La Paz and San Vicente Mártir until it reaches the Town Hall Square, passing in front of the Post Office and the Marqués de Sotelo Avenue.
From 12:00 hours, the entrance of bands will parade through the center of Valencia.
The groups will begin to concentrate from 10:00 am in the Plaza de Tetuán and will advance along the street of General Tovar, the Plaza Alfonso el Magnánimo and the streets of Peace, San Vicente Mártir and Blood, until reaching the Town Hall Square.
At this point, the first mascletà fallera will be fired by Pirotecnia Valenciana, putting the finishing touch to the morning events after 14:00 hours.
Afternoon traffic cuts for the Crida
In the afternoon, the Crida will mark the official start of the Fallas 2025. The event will take place in the Torres de Serranos from 19:00 hours and will last until approximately 21:00 hours. To facilitate its development, from 17:00 hours traffic will be cut off on the right bank of the old Turia riverbed, including underpasses.
