The neighbors of Valencia will wake up to the sound of thunder and tro de bac this coming Sunday, February 23 with the macrodespertá of Fallas to be held in the streets of the city center.
From 7:15 am will begin the children’s despertá through the streets of downtown on the initiative of the falla Corona. This will be followed 15 minutes later by the great despertá.
The route will start at the Parterre, and the falleros will parade along La Paz street, passing through the Plaza de la Reina and San Vicente street, to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
At the end there will be a final apotheosis in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento in the form of a mascletá, around 8 am, by Pyrotechnics Alto Palancia.
Afterwards, there will be a fallero breakfast for the participants, as is the tradition for this type of event.
The macrodespertá will be followed by the entrance of music bands through the streets of Valencia at 12 noon and a mascletá in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento from 14 hours.
At 7 p.m. the whole fallero world will look to the Serranos Towers, where the Crida de las Fallas 2025 will take place with a fireworks display by Peñarroja.
