On the last Wednesday of August, as it is already a tradition, Buñol prepares for its most international event: La Tomatina.
The Valencian town of Buñol will host next Wednesday, August 27, the 78th edition of La Tomatina, in which about 120,000 kilos of pear tomatoes will be thrown between 12 and 13 hours, as reported by the organization.

Recommendations for the Tomatina 2025
To enjoy a Tomatina without endangering other attendees, the organization recommends not to enter with bottles or hard objects, do not break or throw T-shirts, and crush the tomatoes before throwing them so that the blow is less forceful.
