Three years in a row at the top. Hundred Burgers is once again crowned the best burger joint on the planet on The World’s 25 Best Burgers 2026 list.
Created by Burgerdudes, this is a Swedish food review platform focused exclusively on burgers that has been active since 2014 and has visited over a thousand restaurants in 65 countries.
From Valencia to the world: the success of Hundred
The project launched in Valencia in 2020, driven by two friends with a clear obsession: making great burgers.
Today, Hundred Burgers has seven locations spread across Valencia and Madrid. Its concept is built on two pillars: Galician blonde beef dry-aged for 60 days, and a bun that combines the fluffiness of brioche with the characteristic texture of a Japanese milk bun .
On their latest visit to the brand’s Madrid location, the Burgerdudes team worked their way through much of the menu, trying the Loser, Satisfaction, and Paul Finch, with prices ranging from 12 to 14 euros per burger.
Second place goes to Holy Burger in São Paulo, while Au Cheval—with locations in Chicago and New York—takes the bronze and the title of best burger in the United States.
The award for the world’s best smash burger goes to Funky Chicken Food Truck, from Stockholm.
Among the newcomers to the list is another Spanish restaurant: BDP Burger, from Madrid.
