Burgers with dry-aged beef for less than €5. “Democratizing access to high-end meat” could be the slogan of Street by Robert’s, a new restaurant in Valencia that bases its offering on gourmet quality at fast-food prices.
The price, starting at €4.99 per burger, is a gamble by its creator, Robert, who has experience in the meat sector. Dry-aged, minced and shaped daily on the premises, but focused on quick consumption, explains the creator in a video with @silvia_fatfood.
What kind of burgers does Street by Robert’s sell? All for less than €8.
The restaurant is designed for ordering and enjoying elsewhere. The starting price for the single version is €4.99, while the double option, with two patties, costs €7.99.
In the few days it has been open, the Cheeseburger has been the most popular, and includes the restaurant’s special sauce, pickles, and grilled onions.
The cooking process uses the technique of pressing the patty on the grill to achieve the Maillard reaction: a toasted and crispy exterior that keeps the inside juicy. The burger is topped with a slice of smoked cheese and a soft brioche bun.
The restaurant also serves Loaded Beef Fries for €5.99, a hamburger-style dish consisting of French fries topped with matured ground beef, smoked cheddar cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and house sauce.
The restaurant, located at Calle Alcoy number 1, is open continuously from Thursday to Sunday, from 7:00 p.m. on weekdays. In addition to in-person service, they offer home delivery through digital platforms.
