Metrovalencia unions resume this Wednesday, March 26th the call for strikes after the Fallas 2025. After the failure of negotiations with the management of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV), new strike days have been confirmed on different days in March and April.
The first strike will take place today, Wednesday from 13:15 to 15:15 hours. The new mobilizations from then on will take place on the following dates and times:
- March 26: from 13:15 to 15:15 hours.
- April 2: from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
- April 9: from 1:00 pm to 3:20 pm.
- April 16: from 12:45 to 15:10 hours.
- April 30: from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
These stoppages are in addition to those already carried out during the Fallas and respond to the lack of agreement on the “unilateral modification of working conditions”, according to the unions.
The dissatisfaction of FGV staff is due to changes in the work schedule that affect family reconciliation, the elimination of the voluntary service for the January 1 holiday and the lack of measures after the flood of last October 29, which revealed deficiencies in the Self-Protection Plan and emergency protocols.
FGV management assures that it will maintain the minimum services established in previous calls to ensure mobility in the affected hours. For today, the minimum services will be 80%.
The modified schedules for today can be consulted on the Metrovalencia website.
