The new single transport pass for the whole of Spain is now on sale for unlimited travel for 30 days on the entire Renfe Cercanías and Media Distancia network. Although it will not be available for use until January 19, this pass will work as a monthly flat rate that covers Renfe services and state-owned bus lines.
The Council of Ministers approved this initiative at the end of 2025 to integrate the public transport network nationwide. The government plan envisages the gradual incorporation of the transport operators of each autonomous community and city in order to be able to use a single transport pass throughout Spain.
At present, no Spanish city has completed the full integration of its local services into this pass. In Valencia, for the time being it will only be available for Cercanías, Media Distancia and state buses.
How much does the new single travel pass cost?
The general fare costs 60 euros per month. Young people under 26 years of age have a reduced price of 30 euros per month.
To obtain the discount, users must first register on the website of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility. After registration, the system generates a code needed to complete the purchase of the pass.
