The famous revolving teacups of amusement parks have their Valencian version 10,000 kilometers from the capital of the Turia. This is Shima Village Spain, a theme park with an attraction called La Tomatina, which is inspired by the Valencian festival to recreate the famous cups, but in the shape of a tomato.
Where is Shima Village Spain

The amusement park is located in Shima, a city in Mie Prefecture in the southeast of the country.
This center is filled with other Spanish tourist clichés, such as Madrid’s Plaza Mayor, Cibeles and Puerta del Sol, Montserrat in Barcelona or a roller coaster inspired by the Pyrenees. There is also room for medieval castles that are museums inside or other attractions inspired by Don Quixote de la Mancha.

Comprising 34 hectares, 28 attractions and 23 restaurants and cafes, Shima Spain Village is an ode to the Spanish commonplace, to what tourists look for when they travel to Spain.
There are also hórreos, a 3D San Fermín running of the bulls and a series of live shows such as fallas, flamenco shows or cavalcades (which include floats in which, for example, a guy dressed as Picasso parades).

Food is also taken care of by replicating typical Spanish tascas. An overall ambiance that the park itself describes as “reminiscent of the exotic atmosphere of a Spanish city and full of Spanish charm.”
