Las Fallas 2026 will not have a quiet start. The AEMET forecast for Valencia predicts a festive start marked by rain and storms, with occasional improvements that will arrive too late for most of the weekend’s events.
Friday 6: rain guaranteed
On Friday the 6th, the day of the official lighting of many fallas, there will be rain and storms throughout the day, with a 95-100% chance of rain and highs of 15°C.
Anyone going to see the lighting of the Malvarrosa Falla —which will be silent that Friday—should wear waterproof clothing.
Saturday the 7th will have a complicated first half of the day: a 100% chance of rain between midnight and noon. The afternoon may be a little luckier, with a 90% chance of rain between noon and midnight.
Temperatures will drop compared to previous days, with lows of 9°C and highs of 14°C.
Sunday 8: the only respite of the weekend
Sunday 8, Women’s Day, will be the least adverse day of the period. The probability of precipitation will fall to 50% in the first half of the day and 65% in the second, with temperatures reaching a high of 16°C.
