Peñíscola’ s Christmas lighting has become one of the attractions of the Valencian Community during these dates. This town in the province of Castellón has already kicked off the winter tourist campaign with the illumination of 1.5 million LED bulbs that adorn the castle area and the Plaza de Santa María.
The event, known as La Llum del Nadal, has become an important milestone for the city and this 2024 has been complemented by a show of 150 drones . Truly magical.
After the recognition as “Christmas Village 2021” by the Ferrero Rocher brand and the delivery of special lighting, the council has sought to further enhance the Christmas decorations in the historic core, expanding the lighting along several streets and facades, and incorporating shows such as the drone show on December 1.
Every day, starting at 5 p.m., you can visit all the illuminated spaces in the old town. The Peñíscola City Council expects that the lighting can be visited until the first half of January, thus offering visitors more than 40 days to enjoy and rediscover the city under the light of Christmas.
In addition, if we are visiting the municipality, we will also be able to enjoy a magical Christmas market until January 1, 2025. And, for several days, there will also be concerts and performances in the streets.
