Laura Pausini didn’t leave Valencia without trying the paella. The Italian artist, who sold out the more than 12,000 tickets at the Roig Arena on Saturday, spent Sunday exploring the Albufera and chose the restaurant Nou Racó, located at Carretera del Palmar, 21, to sit down and eat like a true Valencian.
She shared this herself on her social media, where she showed the dishes she chose: Valencian paella made with the original recipe from La Albufera and arroz del senyoret.
The Valencian paella Pausini chose follows the traditional recipe from the Albufera: chicken, rabbit, duck, and snails. It costs 23 euros per person.
The arroz del senyoret, made with seafood, costs 23.50 euros. Both rice dishes, like the rest of the menu, are served for a minimum of two people.
Nou Racó’s rice menu offers a wide variety beyond the classics, with options such as Iberian pork belly rice with wild leeks and garlic shoots (€23.50), melt-in-your-mouth pork jowl rice with mushrooms and chestnuts (€24), or chicken, mushroom, and foie gras rice (€26), the most expensive item on the menu.
The boat ride, the perfect ending

The restaurant, a popular venue for weddings and events, features a terrace and direct access to the Albufera, allowing Pausini to round out the day with a boat ride on the lake. This experience can be booked as part of an event or celebration held at the restaurant’s facilities.
