The owners of one of Valencia’s most renowned restaurants are taking a step toward a more casual atmosphere without compromising on quality. Carito Lourenço and Germán Carrizo, the Argentine chef duo behind Fierro ( one Michelin star), have another restaurant in Valencia that has just been recommended by the Michelin Guide: La Oficina.
It is a bistro that has taken over the space of a former bar in the Ruzafa neighborhood. Deliberately more relaxed than their flagship restaurant, the culinary philosophy remains exacting and centers on grilled dishes.

Aged meats and fish cooked over an open flame in a restaurant where, according to the chefs themselves, you won’t find a traditional grill. “We shouldn’t view it as a grill; however, we do claim to master the fire,” the chefs tell the Michelin Guide.
How much does the menu cost at La Oficina?

The experience at La Oficina can be enjoyed in two ways: by ordering à la carte or by letting yourself be guided by one of the available set menus, which range from 45 euros to 65 euros. There are four options: Grilled aged fish, Grilled vegetarian, Aged meat, and the one they simply call“We’ll feed you.”
The guide recommends pairing them with one of the cocktails on the menu.
La Oficina is located at 16 Duque de Calabria, Valencia.
