Cheese is back, the Montanejos Artisan Cheese Fair is back. This town of Castellón will host next weekend, from Friday 3 to Sunday October 5, the tenth edition of the largest event dedicated to this product in the Comunitat.
Throughout the weekend you can taste and purchase a wide variety of artisan cheeses from dozens of Valencian cheese factories, as well as wine from local wineries.

During the weekend, it will be possible to discover a great diversity of typologies, from cured and goat cheeses to blue or soft cheeses. In addition, the fair will feature a selection of Valencian wines to propose pairings and enhance the dining experience.
The program of this tenth edition includes activities such as live cooking exhibitions by Ángela Gimeno, winner of Masterchef XII; Jonathan Rodríguez, executive chef of Palacio de Viana; and Jose Bou, from L’Ermita Restaurant.

The tasting-competition of the festival will also be held, where a jury of experts will evaluate the different varieties presented to the competition. The decision and the awards ceremony will be held on Saturday at noon.
The offer will be completed with commented tastings-pairings and live musical performances during the nights of Friday and Saturday, which will enliven the atmosphere in the gardens of Villa Purificación and on the main stage of Manuel Pradas street.

Friday, October 3rd
- 19:00h: Showcooking by Ángela Gimeno, winner of the XII Edition of Masterchef, in the Gastronomic Space Villa Purificación Castellón Ruta de Sabor.
- 22:30h: Performance by Pacoenlaluna + Bandelocos in the gardens of Villa Purificación.
Saturday, October 4th
- 10:00h: Opening of the stands at the fairgrounds and tasting points of sale.
- 11:00h: Meeting of the Jury for the Tasting-Competition at the Hotel-Restaurant El Palacio.
- 11:30h: Official inauguration of the X Edition with the visit of authorities in Manuel Pradas Street.
- 14:00h: Publication of the Jury’s decision and awards ceremony of the Tasting-Competition.
- 17:30h: Showcooking by Jonathan Rodríguez, Executive Chef of Palacio de Viana, in the Villa Purificación Gastronomic Space.
- 19:30h: Tasting-pairing with Castelló Ruta de Sabor products, by José Manuel Manglano and Rosa Vázquez, with a performance by pianist Juanvi Llinares.
- 22:30h: Performance by the band Canal 69 on the stage of Manuel Pradas Street.
Sunday, October 5
- 10:30h: Opening of the stands at the fairgrounds.
- 11:30h: Showcooking by Jose Bou, Executive Chef of the Restaurant “L’ Ermita”, on the stage of Manuel Pradas Street.
- 20:00h: Closing and closing of the fair.
