The passage of the processions during Valencia’s Semana Santa Marinera will require Metrovalencia to temporarily modify tram service on Lines 6 (Marítim-Tossal del Rei) and 8 (Marítim-Neptú) during three key days of the celebration. The affected sections are those between the Marítim-Neptú and Marítim-Canyamelar stops.
Service suspension times by day
- Holy Thursday, April 2 Service on the affected sections will be suspended between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Regular schedules will resume after that time.
- Good Friday, April 3 The suspension will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will continue until the end of service, as the most important events of Holy Week in the Fishing District extend into the early morning hours.
- Easter Sunday, April 5 Lines 6 and 8 will suspend service on the indicated sections between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., coinciding with the Easter Parade, which brings the public celebrations to a close. Service will return to normal starting at 4:00 p.m.
