Public Library of Valencia – Pilar y Faus
The old hospital of Valencia is the headquarters of the Municipal Public Library of Valencia. Inaugurated in 1979, it has one of the largest loan collections in the municipal network. In addition to enjoying reading, you can discover a piece of the city’s history with the preservation of the remains of the old hospital that surrounds it. Organizes monthly activities for children and young audiences.

Valencian Library – San Miguel de los Reyes
The historic Suite of San Miguel de Reyes is home to the “Nicolau Primitiu” Valencian Library, a space dedicated to research and study.
To make use of funds and on-site services one of the following cards is required these are provided free of charge at the information desk at the entrance to the building, although certain requirements must be met.
As a general public, this library can be visited free of charge during the Open Day (September 29) or by express request through the mail bv@gva.es.

María Moliner Children’s Library
We highlight this small library in the Tarongers neighborhood for its offer of books and programs for the youngest members of the family. It is located near the universities and has a space that is 100% adapted for the enjoyment of children. It is part of the network of municipal libraries in Valencia.

Library of Social Sciences “Gregori Maians”
Although the network of libraries of the University of Valencia is very extensive, this is one of the most attractive for its extensive collection dedicated to the social sciences and its beautiful interior structure.
On its website you can check the opening times: 🕒 Times which change significantly in the summer after the examination period. In fact, if you come during that period, access may be restricted to students of the University of Valencia.

MuVIM Library
We choose this library because it is located in one of the most original museums in Valencia, the MuVIM, dedicated to illustration. It was launched in 2004 and established as a research and dissemination center specializing in the Enlightenment and Modernity, with a focus on modern thought and open to society at large.
Open from Monday to Thursday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
