After the hurricane disaster in Valencia, there have been hundreds of expressions of solidarity from all professional sectors. Electricians, physiotherapists, educators… and healthcare personnel, more necessary than ever, have also taken action.
The MeetingDoctors platform has offered its services completely free of charge to those affected by the DANA, so that anyone who needs a prescription, psychological support or a pediatric consultation can do so easily via cell phone.
To access the platform, the MeetingDoctors application must be downloaded to the cell phone and registered with the code “ASISTENCIADANA”.
For the time being, MeetingDoctors will be active for the next few days, 24 hours a day. These are the services offered:
- Electronic prescriptions. At the moment, many people need medication, but, for one reason or another, they cannot get the prescriptions. Through the application, it will be possible to contact doctors who will assess the patient and, if necessary, provide them with the necessary electronic prescriptions.
- Psychological help. Anyone who needs it will be able to contact psychologists free of charge, 24 hours a day.
- Pediatric care. Both medical and psychological consultations will also be available for the youngest members of the family.
