Public transport will continue to be free for young people under 31 years of age in the Comunitat Valenciana until next June 2025, as long as a new requirement is met: it must be loaded on a card with a photo of the user. Móbilis30 customizable.
In the last decree 2/2025 of January 28 approved by the Consell to extend the aid to regional public transport has been established as a condition from May 1, 2025 that all users of this free pass must have the card with name and photograph of the user.
A measure that the Consell itself has reaffirmed in a statement coinciding with the official launch of the Mòbilis30.
Those who already have a free fare card issued before the entry into force of this regulation will be able to continue using it, but with an important modification: from May 1, 2025, fare cards loaded on non-personalized supports will no longer be valid.
To avoid problems in the use of the season ticket, the authorities recommend users to make sure that their ticket is loaded on a personalized support before the deadline, as generic tickets (Metrovalencia soft card, for example) will not be accepted.
The Autoritat de Transport Metropolità de València (ATMV) may extend this deadline depending on the progress in the distribution of the new personalized supports.
How to process the new Móbilis30 card in Valencia?
The customizable Móbilis30 card can be processed online at the ATMV website. The procedure has a cost of 4 euros.
The new Móbilis30 cards will be made of plastic and will be personalized with the holder’s photograph and data.
After making the request, the user will receive the card at home within a few days, as long as he/she is in Spain. No deliveries will be made outside Spain.
Móbilis30 can be used in the TRAM systems of Castelló, the Metropolitan Transport system of Valencia and the TRAM d’Alacant.
