The mobility platform FreeNow offers discounts on cabs, bicycles, scooters, electric scooters and car sharing through its application for all people between 14 and 30 years old who have the youth card.
20 € on urban mobility: how the promotion works
This initiative, valid from summer 2025, allows young people from 14 to 30 years old to enjoy two vouchers of 10 € each to use in urban journeys with FreeNow. Although the proposal comes from the Community of Madrid, the discount is also applicable in Valencia and in any city where the app operates, as long as you meet the requirements.
The only requirement is to have a valid Carnet Jove, whether from the Valencian Community or any other autonomous region. In addition, you must have never used FreeNow before (the offer is only valid for new users, and not for company accounts).
To activate the vouchers, simply enter your Carnet Jove membership number (a 16-digit code standard throughout Europe) on the campaign’s official website. After activation, you will have 30 days to use the two trips, and the promotion will be active until December 31, 2025.
How to apply for your Carnet Jove in Valencia
The Carnet Jove de la Comunitat Valenciana is completely free and is available for people between 14 and 30 years old. It is valid for 2 years and can be obtained in both digital and physical format.
How to do it?
- Follow the instructions on the IVAJ website.
- Download it instantly to your cell phone in PDF format.
- Make sure you have a PDF reader installed and provide a valid email address.
If you want it in physical format, you can:
- Choose a town hall or mancomunidad as a collection point when requesting it.
- Go to an IVAJ office with the receipt that you will receive by email if you have already requested it digitally.
If you only have a valid passport, you can also apply for it by following a specific procedure indicated on the official website.
