K-pop and dance lovers, grab a pen and paper because a festival is coming to Valencia that will flood the streets of the city, museums and schools with dances, workshops and activities from September 26 to October 13.
This is the festival Bucles, which under the slogan “Emergencias Escénicas”, this dance festival wants to claim the art and culture as agents that promote critical thinking and improve citizen coexistence.
Therefore, this year, its programming wants to reflect and focus on sustainability and inclusion, but without neglecting the new technologies and phenomena that sweep today as Korean pop culture.
In this sense, its proposals are very innovative, since, for example, will be presented for the first time a piece of participatory and interactive virtual reality dance.
We bring you all the information you need to know about this dance festival in Valencia.
A festival focused on inclusion and outdoors
The 12th edition of the Valencia Loop Festival arrives with more than 35 proposals and activities focused on dance: 24 proposals from Valencian companies, 7 national and 5 international.
It will be held in different parts of the city. Most of them will be outdoors as the Plaza de la Reina, La Rambleta or the Puente del Mar in the Turia Garden.
In addition, one of the main objectives of the festival is to bet on inclusive talent, so some of the pieces will be performed by artists with functional diversity and most of them will be interpreted in sign language.
