The EMT buses of Valencia have new fares from today, 30% more expensive than 24 hours ago, after being published in the Official State Gazette the repeal of the decree law of aid to public transport promoted by the central government.
From today and until a new decree of aid in co-financing with municipalities and autonomous communities is not approved, the EMT of Valencia will have the following rates:
Non-personalized tickets.
- Single Ticket/EMTicket: 2,00 €.
- Bonobús (PVP card 2 €): 6,80 €.
Personalized cards
- Gold Voucher (RRP card 3 €): 20,00 €.
- EMT Jove (RRP card 3 €): 20,00 €.
- EMT ambTU (RRP card 3 €): 10,00 €
- Note: 100% discount on the activation of the card and the 2025 annual pass. Requirement: to be registered at least 6 months before the application in the southern districts of Valencia.
- EMT Infantil (PVP card 5 €): Free of charge.
- EMT BP General (PVP card 3 €): 5,45 €.
- EMT BP Special (PVP card 3 €): 3,40 €.
- EMT Refugi (RRP card 3 €): Free of charge.
- EMT MovimEMT (Free activation): 0,68 € per validation (28 €/month).
- EMT Mascota (RRP card 5 €): Free of charge.
Valencia City Council has confirmed this Friday, January 24, that it maintains the 20% discount on EMT exclusive transport tickets, but for the moment it does not assume the remaining 30%, as announced by the Generalitat Valenciana.
These prices are exclusive to EMT transport tickets and do not affect SUMA card users, who still benefit from a 50% discount on fares, and free youth pass up to 30 years promoted by the Generalitat and in force until January 31.
