Valencia Airport will operate a route to the Moroccan capital for the first time, one of two new connections this season alongside Helsinki, in a summer that is expected to be a record-breaker with 108 routes, 40 airlines, and 11% more seats than the previous year.
The route to Rabat, operated by Ryanair, is one of the major new additions for the 2026 summer season at Valencia Airport.
The route will establish a direct link to the Moroccan capital for the first time, a market with growing potential for both tourism and travelers of Moroccan origin residing in the Valencian Community.

The other brand-new addition is Helsinki, operated by Finnair, which completes Valencia’s presence in all four Scandinavian capitals (Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Helsinki).
Beyond these first two, the season will add another twelve new routes compared to last summer. Wizz Air will expand its operations with flights to London Luton and Gatwick, Venice, Turin, and Iași (Romania). Volotea will add Florence, Bordeaux, and Lille, and ITA Airways will connect Valencia with Rome.
Rounding out the list are Dan Air to Bucharest-Bacău, Israir to Tel Aviv, Ryanair to Warsaw-Modlin, and Air Nostrum to Melilla.
The airport will offer 4,697,020 available seats this summer—11% more than in 2025—with 108 routes to 32 international markets via 40 airlines, including Air Transat, which is flying to Canada on the first transoceanic flight in 13 years.
