
Valencia will recover transoceanic flights from next summer. For the first time in 13 years, Manises airport will have a direct connection to the other side of the Atlantic, in this case with Canada.
Montreal will be one of the more than 100 destinations that will be operated from Valencia airport during the summer of 2025. Operated by Air Transat on a weekly basis, this flight will take over from New York, which ceased operations in 2012 and was the last long-haul flight from Manises.
Previously, in 2005, Air Madrid had operated a direct flight to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
