There are projects that emerge from the people for the people, with the sole aim of promoting culture, leisure, and bringing joy to attendees. Circ Voramar is the perfect example of this philosophy: an initiative born on the streets to showcase talent in the performing arts and, of course, entertain everyone who wants to come and enjoy it.
Starting next Friday, August 28, and running through Sunday, September 6, the streets of Cabanyal and Tinglado 2 in La Marina will be filled with jugglers, acrobats, comedians, theater actors, and entertainers leading the 30 different activities on offer , all of which are suitable for audiences of all ages.
Workshops, games, contests, magic, music, and circus performances: a perfect way to have fun with the whole family before heading back to school (or work). The festival, which will celebrate its 11th edition in 2026, is completely open to the public and free of charge, in keeping with the project’s mission and spirit.
And the fact is that Circ Voramar, just as its slogan proclaims, is much “more than a circus.” It is a neighborhood initiative that seeks to reclaim public spaces as gathering places and bring culture to areas beyond the city center, where most events of this kind are concentrated.
